Stress? Frustrated? Sad? Tired of being something? Sometimes we cannot expected that every single day we have been through will be going as we think. So, don’t make your day became worse because of something you didn’t want. Take it easy and why not try this simply way? Find your best approach!
1. Practice mindfulness – focus on what you’re doing now. Don’t let your mind fly away while you were having fun. Enjoy yourself!
2. Go to sleep – gosh! How is it? Taking a daily catnap or getting into bed by 9pm one night with a good book and turning the light out an hour later, it can do more for your mood and outlook on life than any number or bubble baths or massage.
3. Hum along – music soothes more than the savage beast. Studies find that music activates parts of the brain that produce happiness and relaxing. Those who listened to their choice of music had significantly lower heart rates, blood pressure and cardiac workload; that is, your heart didn’t have to work as hard. This is my favorite thing while I was busy with my job - so relaxing even if my day is too much!
4. Spend time alone – although close relationships are one of the best antidotes to stress, sometimes you need time alone to recharge and reflect. Take yourself out to lunch or to a movie, or simply spend an afternoon reading, or browsing in a bookshop or an antique shop. My favorite place to go alone at MidValley Megamall. Sitting alone while watching to others, reading at MPH and lastly... going to play games; shooting a vampire, racing car... No wonder if I had my ranking. Hehe!
5. Take care of your soul – believe and actively in religion will give you feeling happier and coping better with life’s numerous crisis. Faith will provided a support community, a sense of life’s meaning, feeling of ultimate acceptance, a reason to focus beyond themselves. Maybe you’re not a religious people, but spirituality of some other description may offer similar benefits. Communing with nature also good for the soul.
6. Having a pet – to love and care for is good for our healthy. It can lower of accepted risk factors for cardiovascular disease that was not explicable on the basic of cigarette smoking, diet, bMI or socio-economic profile. I have a cat. Do you have one?
7. Count your blessing – people who pause each day to reflect on some positive aspect of their lives ( health, friends, family, political freedom or education) experience a heightened sense of wellbeing.
There is another way to make you life’s happier. Do it or not, you want it or just accept your present life, its all in your mind.
